OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 – Safe, Non-Irritating Fabrics
Our clothes are made from fabrics that are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, Class 1. This is the strictest level, designed especially for children under 3 years old.
What does Class 1 mean?
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class 1 ensures that the garments do not contain harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, heavy metals, or banned dyes that could be detrimental to a child's delicate skin. All fabrics used in Hurraa!Kids clothing meet this standard.
GOTS Certification – Ecological and Ethical Standards
Some of the fabrics we use are also GOTS-certified (Global Organic Textile Standard). GOTS is the world's leading certification for organic textiles, covering the entire production chain, from raw materials to the finished garment.
What does GOTS certification mean?
Organic materials: GOTS-certified fabrics are made from at least 70% organic fibers (often organic cotton), which are cultivated without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. This is a better choice for the environment and your child's skin.
Ethical production: GOTS certification for fabrics requires strict social criteria, such as fair working conditions and fair wages for workers throughout the entire supply chain.
Environmental friendliness: GOTS standards ensure that the fabric production processes are as environmentally friendly as possible, for example, by minimizing water and energy consumption and the use of chemicals.
Why are certifications important?
They protect your child's delicate skin from harmful substances. They support sustainable and ethical production. They give you peace of mind, knowing that your child is dressed in clothes made from safe and environmentally friendly fabrics.
